Erick Odhiambo Ngutu

Erick Odhiambo Ngutu is a seasoned agricultural professional with over two decades of hands-on experience in agronomy, livestock husbandry, and extension service delivery. He is highly regarded for his ability to translate agricultural innovations into practical solutions that improve food security, enhance farmer incomes, and strengthen community resilience.

Over the years, Erick has partnered with reputable organizations such as CARE Kenya, CEFA, Plan International, and the Kenya Agricultural Productivity Project (KAPP) to design and implement programs that have transformed rural livelihoods. His work spans from establishing banana nurseries and horticultural farms to developing farmer-friendly training resources and facilitating market linkages for value chain actors.

In his current role as Company Agronomist at Ke-Devries Company Ltd, Erick oversees large-scale horticultural operations, manages agrovet services, and coordinates extension support to farming groups. His approach blends technical expertise with participatory engagement, ensuring that communities not only adopt but also sustain improved agricultural practices.
